A Welcome from Our Rabbi

Welcome to the website for Yavneh: a Jewish Renewal Community, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.

Founded in 2010 and based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Yavneh seeks to be a home for all those wishing to explore Jewish spirituality in a welcoming, nourishing, and non-judgmental community. As leader of Yavneh, I encourage an atmosphere of open-hearted, experiential, joyful exploration. My goal is to create a safe environment for spiritual curiosity, holy chutzpah, devotional practice, and challenging study.

We are an egalitarian congregation proud to welcome all individuals regardless of religious background, spiritual inclination, age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or income. We offer flexible membership and event fees to ensure that no individual or family is excluded due to financial constraints.
