Blessings and the Thoughtful Life - Rabbi Steve Sager
Rabbi Steve Sager will join Yavneh for a Havdalah teaching, Saturday, December 6, 7:00 pm at Jeff Land and Wendee Wechsberg's home in North Raleigh. The theme of the evening will be "Blessings and the Thoughtful Life." As Rabbi Sager has written: "Blessing" is one of those interesting words that translates in some way into all religious languages. Everyone knows how to use the word "blessing" in a sentence. How lovely it would be if we had a sense of the deep wisdom of that word in Jewish religious vocabulary and imagination." To RSVP, or for directions and information, call 919-696-7126 or email Jeff.
