Shared Spiritual Leadership

Join the second cohort of Shared Spiritual Leadership (SSL), a collaboration between Yavneh, West Raleigh Presbyterian Church, and HeartSpace Spiritual Resources.  SSL responds to the challenge of transforming the historic tensions characterizing Christian-Jewish relations into our own day, as both traditions struggle with the aftermath of the Shoah (Holocaust).

Through study, dialogue, and monthly group spiritual direction sessions, participants are guided to

  • reimagine their personal relationship with Judaism and Christianity;
  • explore God’s universal covenant with humankind throughout history;
  • find a path to a mature understanding of each tradition’s authentic spiritual message; and
  • undertake a shared redemptive effort to repair our world.
